“Words build bridges into unexplored regions.”

“The man who has no sense of history, is like a man who has no ears or eyes” (Hitler)

Me, Adolf Hitler, the leader of Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei known as well as the leader of nazis. It was because of me that the Declaration of Human Rights were created. I'm not saying that what I done was a bad thing... not at all! If it wasn't my beliefs, my ideas and even my ambition, no women, child or some poor soul could be protected and have rights that shouldn't have. So they must thank me, they must congratulate me, they must be grateful for someone like me, an authentic genius and extraordinary leader, do something horrible and disgusting (as a few say) and for some people, some mediocre people realize that they must do something to avoid another "tragedy" and for that they came to the conclusion that they needed to elaborate laws and rights that all human being must accept and fulfill. Otherwise I hope, that they punishes the infrator and will give him the punish that he/she deserve. Don't think i'm too harsh, but if someone broke the law, what should happened to that person? Is it right that they let that the person disrespects something that it applies to all world? Is it right that if they (the people that create/promulgates the Declaration of Human Rights) open an exception, they will in the future open more and more exceptions, because if they don't open, it isn't fair for the others. Am I right or not?

So in the end of all ended up well, so shouldn't I be considered less guilty for the death and the crimes that were perpetuated in the World War II? Because, let's face it, humans needs to be forced to an extreme situation to act and to do something. Humans need to be forced to move and to react at something, otherwise another catastrophies, and God knows what else could come here, will happen.  So, please I really, really deserved a "thanks"! But ok, I will be satisfied if all of you never forgets me.

“Adolf Hitler was a Jeanne d'Arc, a saint. He was a martyr. Like many martyrs, he held extreme views.”
― Ezra Pound
“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” (Hitler)

Note: all this text were invented and created, none of this is true or means that this blog defends Hitler. Thanks.

  1. It's always a difficult and challenging task to write about a man like Adolf Hitler. There are two impressive aspects in your text. Firstly, the use of a first person narrator and secondly, the new perspective concerning Hitler's influence on Human Rights. Well done!
