How to prepare your bag in 10 minutes?

OMG... your boyfriend has surprised you with a romantic trip? Or your kids gave to you, for your birthday a trip for two in a adventurous place? Or it's Christmas time and you are going to travel to your mother's house, but you are full of work and you won't have time to prepare your bag? Calm down, I will explain to you how to prepare your bag and even have time for drink a glass of wine.

First of all: choose the type of bag you need. Here's an advice: the bags with wheels are always praticals and match with all the differents places. You only have to choose the size ;b

Second: try to choose cloths that you know that have several applications and that you will be able to use them in more that one situation. Like: day 1 - a black shirt with a white skirt and red shoes and day 3 - the same black shirt with a grey jacket and jean, for example.

Third: now according with your destination you need to adapt your decisions like if you are going to he beach don't forget the bikinis, the sandals, some dresses or tunics; if you are going to see the Nature or some wild place choose something like: shorts, t-shirts, shirts and tennis and if you are going to the city you need to have: a dress, comfortable shoes, jeans, sweaters and shirts.

Fourth: no matter what is your destiny there are some essential elements that you cannot forget like: a good hat (preferably folding), a backpack or purse practice for loading maps and guides, water, food, sunscreen and hats, camera, books for quieter moments :)

Fifth: after you decide what to use, you will need to put all the clothes and shoes in the bag so let's do it. Start by line the bottom of the bag with a large plastic bag (which will serve for laundry!) And other plastic bag in case you need an additional transport medium to bring all the memories that you buy :b Then snuggle the biggest garments, in this case, the pants: a good trick is to leave part of the legs out of the bag. After put  the jackets, shorts, skirts and dresses - be careful to extend these pieces as much as possible, avoiding unnecessary creases and folds, always alternating the direction of clothing to create a "hill" level. This done, cover the mound with his trouser legs to an anti-wrinkle infallible! Before you start packing the rest, extend the coat that will serve as a support base for the second "round" of clothing, in this case all that can be rolled up: t-shirts, tops, knitwear, sweats, bikinis, socks, etc. .Then extend a pareo or scarf on this pile of clothes and put on top of that your lingerie, underwear and other garments more delicate. Straighten one end of each pareo, joining them in the middle - just create a small pouch for those little things! And the shoes? The sides of his suitcase, waiting for us! Put the shoes in individual bags, preferably with the interior lined with tissue paper or newspaper to not deform and position them with the soles facing the structure of the bag. Complete with pajamas (probably the only part that will need when you arrive at your destination!), Some additional purse or clutch (take this space to store jewelery, belts and other accessories) and of course your necessaire! Cover everything with the beach towel for extra protection! Close, lock and voilá!

Sixth: Your personal documents, airline tickets, hotel reservations, money, credit cards, cameras, mobile phones, iPods and other valuables should always travel at your side. If the plane is a good idea to bring in your cabin baggage some clothes and toiletries alternates, will not start the holidays with lost luggage! We do not wish this on anyone, but what happens, happens!

So resuming: It is recommended that a small light "pharmacy" with medications that often takes or which may be helpful to your specific destination, without forgetting the mosquito repellent, sunscreen, after sun and bandages. When in doubt, consult your pharmacis;
                            As a precaution, put your necessaire inside a plastic bag, case or bottle Smash open accidentally;
                            Do not forget to pack enough underwear for every day, will not lose precious minutes of your long-awaited vacation washing it? Oh, and another thing - if most of your clothes are white or beige, not make the mistake of taking only underwear dark!;
                           Avoid taking shirts or garments in fabrics that wrinkle easily. If indispensable, many hotels offer laundry service especially for small emergencies, or hang this piece in the toilet while you shower - the steam helps to extinguish the worst creases!;
                           The pajamas - curiously in the middle of everything else, is often overlooked!;
                           Be practical. Really need to take 10 pairs of shoes and 2 evening gowns for a week at a resort situated on an idyllic island and isolated? Do not be a slave to your bag!
Now, enjoy and have a good trip :)

A trip around the world

Hi, my name is Jordan, and Amy and Alex and of course Mikey. We are four friend that decided to travel around the world and discover not only a little bit of the world but also know the hometowns of the four of us. While i'm telling you our trip, i will clarify to you some of the disadvantages of globalisation.

We started by travelling to London, hometown of Amy... when we arrived we saw the Westminster Palace (with the Church of St. Margaret ), the Tower of London, the place were the historical Treat of Greenwich was made and the Royal Botanic Gardens. We also discover that the Olympic Games were hosted in London in 1908, 1948 and 2012. In the end we visited the family of Amy. And i must say to you that we travelled from USA to London in the blink of an eye... of course that is one of the advantages of globalisation, but one of the disadvantages is the competition that job markets suffers. Because with the European borders open to everyone, the emmigrants when arrive in a country will need a job and they will took jobs and replace some of the "home-workers" just because they are more qualified or younger or just for being foreign they receive less, so it's cheaper to the boss hire foreign workers than those who are national workers. This will lead to the higher competition in job markets, the bribery will also be a resource that rich families will use in order to guarantee their fancy  lifestyle and it also will lead to the loss of moral values....

Let's continue our journey by going  to Toquio. Yes, the hometown of Mikey. Do you know that Toquio has 30 millions of people, and it's the bigger metropolitan area of the entire world? Yes, it's true... and also has this huge buildings and with so many colors and with so many people! I might tell you that in the second day, all the people look like twins for us, of course that Mikey was in the heaven... walking like none it's happened and he never changed a name! Unbelievable! But there are some funny adventures like when Mikey left us alone, because we was visiting his family in a far away village, and a japanese girl seduced Alex to eat chip cockroaches and other disguting bugs... but he never ate, because Amy grabbed him by the ear and pulled out . I follow them and you needed to see the face of Alex when he realised what he was going to eat. Ahahaha when we told Mikey, he mocked so much with the poor Alex... it was hilarious! However, we saw a sad thing... we saw two man, that weren't japanese, assaulting a old woman. I now can tell you another disadvantage of globalisation: a higher rate of criminality.

To conclude our trip, we travel to Australia, the hometown of Alex. Australia the country with such a diversity of animals like marsupials, including the kangaroo, koala and Vombatidae, and birds such as the emu and the kookaburra. Australia is home to many dangerous animals including some of the most venomous snakes in the world. Alex show us all the monuments and the best places of Australia, and of course we ate delicious food made for their grandparents. Because culinary in Australia was influenced by the immingrants cultures of Mediterranean and Asia. One day we are just walking around when we saw in a newspaper that a group of man are killing animals illegaly to sell them to other countries and  they also explore poor lands and poor cultures in order to be rich and powerful. That's a sad consequence of the globalisation.

I may say to you that globalisation brought to us very good results and helped the world to grow both technologically such as economically. But also brought several consequences that will cause several problems if they weren't treat properly and quickly. Don't forget that in every coin there are always two faces...

Advantages of Globalization

Did you miss us? Yeah, yeah… but we have a life outside this blog you know?

So, today we are going to talk about GLOBALIZATION, a very interesting subject I have to say…

Well, let’s be honest I love globalization! As you may have realized I love travelling but I terrified of big distances, I hate travels that take days and globalization made possible to “travel without getting very far”… If you want to drink a coffee in Starbucks you don’t need to go to New York, Portugal have them too.

But, drink a coffee in the streets of the fifth avenue in New York with sun glasses and a lot of bags in your arms, is something spectacular, but the crises hit us all so…

The truth is, globalization is awesome to the lazy ones, like me, you see… you can get everything from everywhere without get very far from you couch and your beloved TV, you have the world in your house, you don’t need to live your country to discover new things… I believed that the statement that better represent the term Globalization is «Se Maomé não vai á montanha, a montanha vai a Maomé», which translated is, If Mohammed will not go to the mountain, the mountain will go to Mohammed.

So you don’t want to go to China for example, you can turn on your computer and know all about the Great Wall of China or you can go to the Chinese restaurant near to your house and experiment the wonderful food…

However, I am still of the old school, I like to know things when I am in the place, go to the bitches of Malibu is very different of see pictures, just like go to Rome to see the Pope is a lot different from see him in the TV, Globalization is great, but I will continue to traveler because like I said going to the streets of New York and drink a coffee from Starbucks, is not the same of drink that coffee in the streets of somewhere else, the feeling is different.
